ポリプロピレン圧縮成形フィルムの結晶配向と力学的性質

The crystal structure was analyzed by wide-angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD) measurement. The pattern obtained from the film cross-section (edge) direction exhibits the characteristic reflection orientation, as depicted in the azimuthal scan. The peaks are observed at 180° direction, suggesting the molecular orientation parallel to the film plane. The tensile tests indicate such unique crystal orientation affected the elongation at break of the sample.
