Numerical analysis of temperature distributions in a gas-phase polypropylene reactor with a single helical ribbon aggitator

A numerical simulation method was developed for estimating the temperature distribution in a commercial-scale gas-phase polyolefin reactor with single helical ribbon agitator.
・ The method represented the temperature distribution with good accurately.
・It was found that the temperature distribution become wider with increased production rate and with decreased rotational speed of the agitator.
