Catalyst ensures excellent mechanical properties.

As compared to conventional catalyst, using single site catalyst (metallocene type), regular chains of polymers are produced, hence giving properties like high impact, tear resistance, good ESCR, high clarity and so on.

However, as the polymer chains produced from metallocene have narrow molecular weight distribution, thus affecting the process ability. Therefore, Mitsui created the bimodal technology to counter this problem.

Bimodality ensures easy processing.

Our bimodal technology makes use of two cascading gas reactors, so conditions in each reactor may be varied to produce polymeric chains of different molecular weights and compositions, therefore producing broader molecular weight distribution.
