In recent years, there has been a rapidly-moving trend toward higher performance and lower price of personal computers and analytical software. As a result, it has become possible for everyone to obtain an environment for easy analysis. Regarding commercially-available strength analysis software, it would not be an exaggeration to say that its performance has reached a saturation level. It may be said that every software has attained a completely satisfactory level. However, these computer programs are not always in practical use.
Why has strength analysis not been commercialized successfully though there is no problem in the performance of either software and hardware?
The points for successful commercialization could be listed as follows:
(1) Mesh preparation
(2) Accurate modeling of objects of analysis, setting of accurate boundary conditions
(3) Defining an analysis study story
(4) Observations on analysis results and knowing data processing method
(5) Availability of analysis results in a stable form
(6) Predictability of analysis results
(7) Understanding of physical properties of plastics materials
Out of theme, items (2) to (6) are most important. What is noteworthy is that items (2) to (6) are the questions to be addressed before discussing the performance of software and conducting analysis.

When you receive our CAE consulting service, you may be requested to prepare and submit to us the following data:
1.Data on product shape
(1) In the case of CAD data:
Basically, please provide us with three-dimensional data of the IGES format. In the case of analysis of warpage, an STL file may be required in some cases. Please send such data by e-mail as far as possible. (If the size of the data is large, please make them of the automatic decompression type.) If you cannot use e-mail to send the data, please provide us with the data by means of AC or DVD.
(2) In the case of paper drawings:
For example, cross-sectional lines in the spacing of several centimeters in some cases. If a part is more than several centimeters in size, please output the data in full size.
2. Conditions, physical properties
(1) Structural analysis
Boundary conditions (fixed state, temperature changes, etc.)
Elastic modulus, stress at yield
(2) Injection molding analysis
Viscosity data (capillary)
PVT data in some cases
