The global environment and business operations: we promote both at Prime Polymer, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the environmental load of manufacturing, transport-related CO₂ emissions and industrial waste.

Our bulk transport operations to reduce CO₂ emissions led to our receiving certification by the Japanese government under the Green Logistics Partnership Promotion Program in 2007. In addition,

we are promoting:

• a shift from trucking to more eco-friendly forms of transportation
• the recycling and reuse of plastic bags
• environmentally friendly procurement policies

We are also taking proactive steps to prevent accidents and occupational injuries.
