- Plastic wheel claddings are prone to expand and buckle when exposed to very high environmental temperatures, especially when subjected to high sun loads. To prevent this, we've used CAE modeling to very accurately predict the linear thermal expansion of the cladding section and then optimize the shape, size, and locations of the oblong attachment holes.
